More control over GPS tracker data lines
Data lines allow supported GPS trackers to send their positions to Plaspy over a mobile network. For accounts that manage these services from the Lines section, it is now easier to keep a list that accurately represents the operation.
If a line does not belong to you, select This line is not mine from the list or its detail view. The line is removed from the standard view and excluded from totals and Excel exports. To recover it later, enable Show the lines I hid and display it again. Adding a hidden line again also restores it to the list.
This is useful when an administrator receives an account containing old or shared lines and needs a clean report for reconciliation, support, or expiration monitoring without permanently removing information.
The renewal flow is also clearer. When an active line can be renewed online, users can continue through the standard process. If a suspended, inactive, or expired line cannot be renewed online, Plaspy displays the available options to request help by phone, WhatsApp, or at the service location. Availability depends on the line status and the service associated with the account.
When an expired line is renewed, the new period begins from the renewal instead of using a past date. If a valid future start date already exists, Plaspy keeps it. This makes it easier to understand when the new period becomes active.
More reliable purchases and subscriptions with Google Play, PayPal, and ePayco
Available payment methods may vary by country, device, and the option displayed during checkout. This release improves the public Google Play, PayPal, and ePayco flows so customers receive a clearer purchase or renewal status.
Google Play purchase recovery
A valid purchase made through the Android app no longer depends only on confirmation finishing at that exact moment. If the session expires, the screen is closed, or a temporary interruption occurs during validation, Plaspy can check the pending purchase again when the user returns and signs in.
This reduces the risk of a completed charge not being associated with the subscription. In a real scenario, a user can finish a purchase on a phone, briefly lose connectivity, and continue the process after returning to Plaspy without starting another purchase.
The Android app's payment compatibility has also been updated for current Google Play requirements. We recommend using the latest app version to benefit from purchase recovery and compatibility improvements.
Clear notifications for declined PayPal charges
If PayPal declines a recurring charge, Plaspy records that payment is required, suspends the affected subscription, and notifies the customer. The user can then identify why service did not continue and review the payment method before resuming it, instead of finding a subscription with an unclear status.
ePayco transaction confirmation
We improved how Plaspy checks the result of ePayco transactions. When a temporary problem prevents payment confirmation, the platform can better distinguish that condition from a transaction that does not exist. Customers receive a more accurate checkout result and face less confusion when reviewing the transaction.

Add and configure a physical GPS tracker
For a physical tracker, the guided flow takes the user through device identification and communication setup. The screen organizes the line's APN, Plaspy's public connection information, and compatible commands that need to be sent to the device. Exact steps depend on the model, mobile operator, and configuration method supported by the manufacturer.
IMEI or identifier validation is displayed while registration is being completed, helping users catch an incorrect value before moving forward. In practice, an installer can prepare a tracker, send the required commands, and then confirm that the device appears on the map.

Use a phone or tablet as a GPS device
Users without a physical tracker can install the Plaspy app from Google Play or the App Store and turn a phone or tablet into a tracking device. The new flow explains three actions: download the app, sign in with the same account, and grant location permission.
The phone must remain powered on with GPS enabled and access to mobile data or Wi-Fi to send positions. After assigning a name and the appropriate permissions, the device can appear on the account map. This is useful for authorized personal tracking, field teams, or mobile equipment, always with the knowledge and permission of the people involved.

Easier device and map marker editing
Device editing now uses a wide, responsive view that organizes fields more effectively on computers, tablets, and phones. Core device details, sensors, commands, and additional settings make better use of the available space, making long configurations easier to review without losing context.
When a device is created, Plaspy suggests an eligible marker. The selector lets users choose quickly from suggested icons or open the complete collection. The Popular tab, touch-friendly navigation, icon search, color palettes, and map-style preview make it easier to distinguish vehicles or assets before saving.
Markers keep their correct proportions and remain centered in previews, including on phones. Account profile fields are also wider, making names, country, time zone, measurement system, and language easier to review and edit.
Command templates available without reloading
Plaspy lets users create command templates to reuse instructions supported by a tracker model. A custom template now appears immediately after it is saved and can be selected or deleted without reloading the page.
This helps installers and administrators who configure several devices of the same model: they can create a sequence once and apply it to the next tracker during the same session. More accurate device status across time zones
The Plaspy map displays the latest received location and uses the age of that position to represent device status. We corrected a time difference that could cause a marker to disappear or appear gray and offline when the account time zone differed from the browser time zone.
Original location time, received time, and last seen information are now presented more consistently with the account time zone. For a company monitoring vehicles from another country, this makes it easier to determine whether a tracker actually stopped reporting or its position is recent.

The Plaspy changelog now includes a side timeline with dates, identification for new articles, and a highlight for the publication currently being read. On the listing page, articles load in groups and navigation can scroll directly to content that is already visible.
This helps customers and engineers browse previous releases, compare updates, and find the context for a feature more quickly without leaving the page.
